About Us

Card Description

This card shows a figure (a woman) standing in an open position, presenting a series of planetary and esoteric symbols over her tunic. The symbols represent local planetary influences in this solar system. They are expressed according to a mystic divinity, each one of which has its own shape and form. Her hands are thrown open and her head is hooded in the continuous garment around her. The garment is made of pure blue coloured silk. She wears a belt of the wayfarer and carries the sign of the eagle at her throat.

To her left is a white pillar, that of illumination and wisdom and to her right is the black pillar of the occult and mystical worlds. She stands upon the steps of ascension upon which the signs of eternity and antiquity are shown. Behind and in the distance are the temples and quarters of her world, the libraries and archives of the celestial and divinatory worlds. To her those are the places of confinement and resolution of purpose of life. Her strength of being, calm and control are fixed upon her face and above her head the gateways to the truth stays open for this view but closed to any who try to approach her without the true intention of seeking the truth.

The sky is a daytime blue representing the fully awakened condition of life whilst held to many of the walls and supports are the dustings of the gold of higher knowledge and constraint. This card also represents the values and secrets of hidden knowledge and any kind of esoteric or even occult archives. The Priestess is a custodian of the virtue and serenity of many worlds including the mystical and ethereal. Her abilities are those that work in the hidden aspects of
process and include such activities as sacred dance and the sacred rites and rituals of the worlds of divinity and pedigree.

The Priestess dwells and abides in the time of the temple, speaking only when made demand off and then in the whispers that carry the passion and meaning of such truths. Her inner life is fixed upon the evolution of the light in others and she seeks always to the higher either than the lower. She serves only in such roles as will keep her content and containments alive within her. She relies upon tranquillity and the singularity of the woman’s way as well as she represents
the unmarried or childlike girl and virgin.

This card is also to do with the religious event of life and ways as she is represented in the churches and temples in the role of a nun or a monk, where they deny the event of life in place of the containment of whatever there is within the process of religious containment and spirit. The higher the spirit the higher the containment. She has a dedicated life to serve the purpose and purposes of that life without a turning around or looking back for self-interest or gain. She has no knowledge of deceit or self lies. To her the world is an unsanctified land and she will never walk upon it until it has been cured from the illicit lives of those who went before and were re-purged and sanctified with the cardinal rites of higher life.

In the ordinary life she walks amongst the worldly people with an all-seeing eye looking into the hearts and secrets that are kept in the eyes and minds of those who pass her by.

She is the one that all women tell their secrets to and take from her the advice that can relieve them of the guilt and more. She has a perception and the empathy of love and light for her fellow sisters and in her presence the world of women can stand again in the truth of what they are. She is represented to all men as the servant of the Empress, the higher issue of all women and is her confidante and aid.

The event of this card is that fate and destiny are not so fixed on their leaving as when they first approached the Priestess herself. The way before was limited by the unknown, unseen, unheard and un-sensed to which no light of day would be possible. She stands against evil and the corruption of life itself especially in women. Without the Priestess and what she embodies there would be no sanctuary or haven for the peace and goodness of life to preserve itself in standard and continuity of flow.

The Priestess is an elected position, appointed by her upbringing and her temperance of manner to be constant and upstanding in the face and knowledge required to become and maintain the way of the Priestess herself. She doesn’t deal in chance or guesswork and looks only upon what is but turns away at the entrance of deceit and lies. She is the woman’s friend and dwells close to the cycles and seasons of women, hiding as they do when their times are active, closing their gates and dis-engaging in the formality of expectancy, as in the life of culture demands. They are hidden for a cycle until they reappear behind a veil too thick for others to see through and far too distant for men to reach into.

Finally for now, the whole life of the Priestess is one made and kept by closed and contained culture of life. They are maintained by the work they do in these worlds, keeping the temples of the world and the temples with themselves alive in the virtue of grace and intelligence of life. They are attached to the elemental worlds in an occult way, using and  commanding over the most powerful of them, keeping for the elemental world (as they do for culture and history).

TO READ THIS CARD…

 AS A DIVINING CARD…

means the whole of this card is depicted at the centre of the rituals and rites of higher life.

The holy orders of life and the event of elemental connection and activity in life. What in esoteric circles is called the three main forces of life e.g. gold, silver, platinum, are there in every practice and art to the speech and lesson given in the truths of things.

AS A DENOMINATIONAL CARD…

means that the Priestess card is a multi-levelled card, treading as she does in the footsteps of learning and clarity as to where, how and why in all that she does.

These are roads that stand aside the normal highways of life. and culture.

AS A PASSOVER CARD…

means it has consequence at the turn of its workings, as the Priestess is only responsible for its containment and passage to those at the right time as it should be done, thus having no other interest in the equations and workings that take place after the event of its delivery.

AS A WORKING CARD…

means the Priestess is never asleep, holding as she does to the place of her containments and embodiments.

This card has more than one meaning as it also relates to the worlds of the being and the inner life event in everyone. She is the assistant to life, the carer of the bond between life and others, the sitter at the event until life moves on or stops where it is.

AN ANSWERING CARD…

means that one of the main features of this card is overall control and allowance, as she cannot be pushed or influenced beyond her station and duties of life. She has direction and most of all connection to entities greater than herself and responds to whomever can approach in the correct sequence of events necessary to have counsel and answer with her.

About Us

Obvious opposites

It is not always a winning position to be facing something or someone like her as even though she has a duty to pass on the knowledge and content, if she sees you lie or are contrary, she will remove the content form the person instead. This does not always mean she takes as very often that content has an awakened nature about itself and knows its own antiquity. That antiquity can be found within the Priestess and her works and her works of life. So the very thing they come to hear, learn, take can also be surrendered to her if they are not what they should be.

She is very powerful and has all the knowledge to charge and respond to any event, the deepest of the occult, that would continually prevaricate her in the normal process of life.

She is opposite because her life is to maintain and embody which must come from somewhere, so she will take where she finds it and that is the nature of her life in opposite.
